Good afternoon to my NO Plan B Peeps,
Oftentimes I am brought on to teams to motivate, educate, inspire, and spearhead change. The question I receive the most - whether said outright or not is - "I have no idea where to go from here." This happens across the board not only in life but especially in entrepreneurship when we are our only sounding board. Could I give you one actionable tip if you feel this way too? Share that viewpoint - gather a biz friend or join a networking call and be extremely honest where you are in your journey. Not many people share the messy middle of business owning. Forge ahead, rest, take a few minutes to pause and reflect, but continue to pave the way for those coming after you. What do I suggest you do not do if you feel this way? Hide it or only slightly share the feelings you are encountering. Why do I say that? Because often, when we internalize feelings and emotions, they end up rearing their head one way or another. Either they come out in a small disagreement, they manifest in different ways, shapes, and forms. So to all my CEO's and COO's and business owners, take a second and ask yourself - "Do I like where my business is going?" "Is where I am headed my ideal location?" Guess what, the power is inside of YOU, so if you want to make that change, you can! I hope this was a healthy mental break from all the hustle culture you may hear, take a minute, pause, and see into the future of your business.

After the She Can Brand Conference in July, I took a step back and internally reflected on what I wanted to build.
More importantly, who I want to build with and for. My client and friend Deby Marchetti approached me to help her execute on an event, I leaned in and truly listened to her heart as she shared her approach. At the end of her ask, I accepted the offer. Her long-term goals and clients being served through this endeavor, were the exact people I wanted to be helping too. We then approached Chris Ward to ask for his help with our speakers, he asked us the same question. He wondered, who is this helping? What purpose does this serve? I immediately realized that I was in the right place at the right time. I want to be around those who aren't focused on numbers, but focused on helping, giving, and then receiving. The Red Talk will take place in Morristown, NJ this Thursday, 12/16, I am so excited to see some of you there. You can use this link to grab your ticket - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-red-talk-tickets-210348166027?aff=gabby Whether you know it or not, your team is out there. The only question is, are they aware of you?
Do they know that you want to work with them, are you open about the future growth of your business? If there is one tip I have for you today - start networking with that next level team NOW. Here's some ways you can get to know your beginner team: 1. Write their names, write their roles, and be clear on what role they will have. 2. Contact them, let them know your intentions, give them your goal deadline, and keep in touch. 3. Keep in touch... invite them to events... build a relationship!! Alright, now GO! They help themselves.
So maybe you're the type of person who LOVES to give. Do you see me standing here with my hand raised high??? Me TOO! Through the journey of building my business, I realized I could build a business where that IS possible. It was a limiting belief that I had thinking if I helped everyone I would go BROKE. Here is what I needed to remember, if "everyone" is actually an ideal client, if the group and following I foster are those who genuinely need my help and knowledge and expertise, it will always help me. Maybe I won't see the impact I am making in just one class, or in just one workshop, but over the months, years, and decades of sharing my genius, it will always help me too. It will push me forward to achieving my dreams as well. WE both help each other. There was once a day where I kept all my genius and passions locked inside me. Deep down in a box labeled "only if"... meaning... only open this IF you are ready. The joke was on me, I was always ready.... as we approach the last stretch of 2021 I am so excited to show you all thing projects I have been working on. I opened the box, I unlocked my potential and released my genius, and there is NO stopping me now. Go do something that scares you in a good way today, something you've been holding back on. LOVE, Your COO, Gabby |
